Happy 1st Birthday, Ragnagoats!
One year ago today, the doors to our beloved server opened for the first time. What a journey it's been! We want to thank everyone, veterans and newcomers alike, and hope you're enjoying yourselves as much as we are.
Much has happened since our humble beginnings last year. We've just recently introduced Trans classes with Episode 9 and launched the Core Mechanics Changes (CMC) update (for more information, check this post) last Thursday which involved a lot of exciting changes and improvements to the game. We're now at a point where we're going steady and look forward to our player numbers increasing again as they have been for the past few weeks. There will, unfortunately, not be a large event for our first birthday as the CMC has wiped the staff out. We did have something planned but we simply didn't have the time or capacity to finish it in time. It will come, however, as soon as possible, and we will let you know what it entails soon enough!
We won't leave you hanging completely, though! As a little thank you, we decided to disable the death penalty until the 15th of February 2024, meaning you will not lose experience when you die. This will come into effect at 5pm ST. We decided against another exp bonus as those are restricted to our seasonal events with the next one coming in March.
